Thank you for visiting Map India website.

Over 1200 participants from all walks of geospatial industry attended the conference. Delegates heard from a wide range of speakers and the participants at Map India. Recommendations have been formulated following the discussions and deliberations made during the course of the conference, including:
  • The grassroot users should be empowered and educated to optimize the geospatial applications as per their requirements and usage.
  • A ‘National GIS Cloud’ should be established to empower GIS at enterprise level in different application areas.
  • Mapping of Oceans is required to meet the growing demand for energy and resources. Data collection too needs to be regulated to ensure quality and reusability of data by many: “Collect Right and Use Many”.
....and many more. The conference report will give you detailed information on all the sessions and activities held throughout the event as well as their results. Whether you attended the entire conference or not, the report is a good resource for finding out what’s the action to enrich the Geospatial industry.
