Karl Harmsen is the Director of CSSTEAP Before joining CSSTEAP, he was Rector Dean of the
International Institute for Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation (ITC), The Netherlands,
where he also holds a Chair in Environmental Systems Analysis. Prof. Harmsen hails from the Netherlands
and graduated from Wageningen University. He specialized in soil physical chemistry and his PhD thesis
was on the behaviour of heavy metals in soil.

David Maguire is Director, Product Development of ESRI Inc. He joined ESRI in 1990. Formerly he was Technical Director and then Managing Director of ESRI (UK). Prior to his joining ESRI, he was a lecturer in GIS at the university of Leicester, U.K. He is the co-editor of the book Geographical Information Systems: Principles, Techniques, Managements and Applications, as well as editor/author of 4 other books and over 60 papers on GIS.

Bob Morris, a leader in the GIS industry, is President of Leica Geosystems, GIS & Mapping Division, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. For more than 20 years, Morris has worked with forestry, surveying/engineering, and manufacturing companies including Trimble, Sokkia and Point where he established himself as a technically competent and results-oriented manager. In 2000, Morris joined Leica Geosystems as head of the GPS/GIS product line. The following year, he accepted the role as President of the newly created GIS & Mapping Division.

An Industry Perspective on Current GeoSpatial Trends
Preetha Pulusani holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in computer science, and is actively involved in several professional organizations. She has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Open GIS Consortium, an international industry consortium dedicated to open geodata and geoprocessing. Before being named President, Pulusani was executive Vice President for Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions.

Sandeep Srivastava received his Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College Kurukshetra in 1987 and his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management at Lucknow in 1989. Sandeep Srivastava heads the South Asia Operations and is responsible for running the India operations as a profit center for Bentley Systems. Sandeep joined Bentley Systems in December 1999 as Regional Director for the India Liaison Office. He is now the Managing Director of Bentley Systems India Private Limited.
