Karen has worked with the City of Newport News for the past 15 years. Karen previously served as President of the Virginia Association of Mapping and Land Information Systems (VAMLIS), a statewide organisation that promotes awareness of GIS throughout Virginia. Levy recently served a two-year term as Chair of the Information Technology Committee for the Virginia Section of American Water Works Association (AWWA). The objective of the committee is to provide a resource for integrating information technology into the water industry in Virginia. Karen Levy is President Elect of GITA North America. She has been a participant at several GITA annual conferences and has presented at numerous Executive Management Symposiums. She has been a member for 11 years and was the association's Treasurer in 2001.

Xavier Lopez is Director of Oracle's Location Based Services Group. Lopez leads Oracle's efforts to incorporate spatial technologies across Oracle's database, application server, and e-business technologies. He has 12 years of experience in the area of GIS and spatial databases. He holds Ph.D. degree from the University of Maine, Engineering and Planning degrees from MIT, and the University of California. Lopez has been active in numerous academic and government research initiatives on geographic information. Lopez has been a GITA member since 1998.

Oscar Vidal joined HP in 1996 as Technical Marketing engineer. In 1999 he moved to the Marketing Sales support department and in 2000 moved to the WW Strategic Marketing department and became Product Manager for future products. He is responsible for developing the business strategies and developing the product portfolio required to be successful in the mid range graphics market segment. Vidal is also the Business manager for the GIS vertical market within the HP Large Format printing business.

Sandeep received his Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College Kurukshetra in 1987 and his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management at Lucknow in 1989. Sandeep Srivastava heads the South Asia Operations and is responsible for running the India operations as a profit center for Bentley Systems. Sandeep joined Bentley Systems in December 1999 as Regional Director for the India Liaison Office. He is now the Managing Director of Bentley Systems India Private Limited.
