Shri. Prabhu is currently Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha. He was born on 11th July 1953 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His academic qualifications include B. Com. (Hons.), LL.B & F. C. A, and is a Charted Accountant, Banker, Politician, Social Worker and Educationist. He was elected Chairman of Maharashtra State finance Commission and was elected to 11th Lok Sabha in 1996 and since then held important positions in Government offices. He has many published papers on a variety of subjects such as economics, sociology, taxation etc. to his credit. He has also been a patron for Map India conference.
