Map India 2004 is pleased to announce that it intends to actively promote and include the work of promising young minds. It aims to encourage participation of students through contribution of academic papers. This year, 5 best papers submitted by the students shall be selected and felicitated with special notes of appreciation. The papers shall also be published as a part of the proceedings of the conference. Student authors of the selected papers will be provided travel support ( 3T AC return train fare ) from Delhi to their hometowns and free registration for the event. Universities and Institutes are encouraged and invited to nominate students and papers for the conference.

Map India 2004 shall also confer, from the entire range of participants, the following awards: ‘best paper, best exhibition, best poster, best software and best hardware’, to maintain its continuous efforts to promote and develop the enterprising mapping community in India.
